This year Saint Gregory School will once again participate in our town’s Move the Mountain Food Drive. Move the Mountain is an annual food drive where the town comes together to collect food for our local food pantry. Each year, St. Gregory Students set a goal that we try to reach. This year, our goal is 2,000 pounds of food. Please help us reach our goal by sending in canned goods and/or prepackaged food. We CANNOT accept food that is expired or perishable. Also, any food donated with Box Tops for Education on them, the Box Tops MUST remain intact in order for them to accept the food. Foods that have been sent in in the past are: all and any canned goods (canned soups, vegetables, fruits, beans, etc.) boxed cereals, cake mixes, bags of sugar/flour, boxed or bagged potato/macaroni/rice items, etc. Anything you can do to help is greatly appreciated. You are also allowed to send in monetary donations if you so choose.
The Move the Mountain event will take place on November 4, 2017 so we will collect food right up until November 3rd. That gives us about 3 weeks to collect as much food as possible to support those less fortunate than us. We appreciate your help with this and look forward to putting a dent in hunger that exists here in our own community.
Thank you and God bless!
